Inclass Exercise 5: Lego Set
Step 1: Model the brick shown above via solid modeling. Dimensions in the drawing are millimeters; be as precise as possible. Use boolean operations to achieve the desired forms quicker.
Step 2: Develop several variations of the block (e.g a 4×4 module, or any other lego brick you might find on the Net). Then, create “blocks” for each variation (Select the brick and Rhino command: block).
Step 3: Create a simple wall structure by using multiple copies of your blocks. Experiment how they could come together to form a seamless wall structure.
Final: Now, try to modify the wall by editing your blocks (Rhino command: blockedit).
